I understand that it wouldn't take as much time as animating characters (Note, I mean characters as in people, not letters) but what's with all the hate? It's entertaining, and even more so entertaining to watch those who complain about how "crappy" typography animations are.
"OH THIS ANIMATION IS CRAP I DON'T SEE WHY IT'S SO FUNNY I'M OLDER THAN ALL OF YOU YEAH I'M AN ADULT BUT I'LL BITCH AND WHINE ABOUT STUPID SHIT LIKE A PRETEEN. EXCUSE ME WHILE I VOMIT UP MOAR HYPOCRISY"
Huh, looks like we're getting quite a few shitty submissions (audio/flash) featured on NewGrounds. There are people who type the truth (That the crap is, well, crap), and then you get those "supah leet" Awesomebombers that rate it highly just because it's shittily done.
I am disappoint in the ever lowering quality-bar here.
I hope you guys are happy knowing that you're turning your own home (the internets) into a shithole.
If I were you, I too would be proud of crapping all over my room's floor, then yelling out to the world how awesome my room is.
My my, busy time it has been so far - My step Grandma came over from overseas to visit my family for 2 weeks or so, and my College work really is beginning to clamp down on me.
Not to worry - things are going along as planned, and if things turn out the way they should, expect 2-3 games from me by the end of this year!
(Please note that I don't script in Flash - I create games only for the Windows OS)
RPG: 1% done (Need to make a title/graphics/music/sound/level design/story)
Car Racing Game: 20% done (Car physics finished - I need graphics/A.I./music/sound/levels)
FirstPersonShooter: 1% done (Camera movement finished - now I need to add the rest of the game)
Just check out the reviews of the piece to see what the people are complaining about: audio reviews
I've already contacted one of the submission moderators that deal with theft and such, but it's been half a week since that had happened - the NG moderator who I contacted is doing shit all about the situation, so I'm leaving it up to you guys to find more competent moderators who will actually do something, and remove the stolen audio.
Last night, one of my best mates agreed to singing the lyrics for one of the songs that I cobbled together. The poetry in the song is turning out pretty awesome :D
Oh, and I replaced my arm-cast (My wrist is still broken) it looks super clean again.
I would also like to thank the moderators of NewGrounds and the many, many contributing members that make this place a wonderful hang out.
Spread the word!
That, was a freaking long time, being afk and all.
Many things have happened, but I'm still the same dude with the same face.
That, and I almost died two days ago - going down a mountain road on a foot-powered scooter is crazy shit.
While you're here, see if you can scout me. Thanks in advance.
The scooter you see below is what I rode upon - the rear wheel exploded from what I did.

Well, I can't animate in flash (or even utilize scripts in it - it's got such a weird timeline) but at least I can write games for Windows. Work in progress - will update with newer cars.
* File Size: 2.3 mb
* Vista Compatible: YES
* Screen Resolution: 320 x 240
* Multiplayer: Yes (Via keyboard on local machine)
To navigate the menu, use the arrow keys to select different options - use the Enter and Escape key to go forward/backwards through the menus.
When in the car selection menu (Player select menu) the players who want to be admitted to the race must press their "Action-1" key (All the keys related to player movement/actions are shown at the bottom of the help file ingame) - press the "Action-1" key again once you are satisfied with the car you selected (by pressing the left/right keys for the corrosponding player) and press Enter when "Press [Enter] to start." popup comes up.
If you're a zero-voter, use swear words, or whatever (such as "BLAM THIS SHIT") within reviews, I will be from now on marking your reviews as abusive, I will also reply to it with:
"Your review is marked as abusive - for abusing the system and not giving detailed feedback/criticism or a fair score."
Spam away, I'll notify either Tom Fulp or anyone else who polices this site, and you'll end up with a ban/broken whistle.
Not that I'm pissed off - I'm just giving you a fair warning before the shitstorm finally piles up on you. I'm tired of members going out of their way dropping crap reviews on art/flash/music.
